No.
Chinese reported 4 million robberies last year, up 7.8 percent from 2003, the China Daily said, citing the Ministry of Public Security.
Police also recorded 1,130 bombings, 10,087 cases of arson, and 36,175 cases of rape recorded by police in 2004, a decrease of 28.3 percent, 12.9 percent and 9.8 percent respectively, the newspaper said.
Bombs are often used in personal feuds or business disputes in China, where most gun ownership is illegal but explosives are readily available for mining and construction.

One thing China isn't, and that's boring!
The rapid development, the excitement of never knowing where a car/bus/truck/bicycle/motorbike might be coming from and at what speed, never being sure if anyone will stop at a stop sign or red light, new buildings which weren't there a few months ago, the ever-changing locations and numbers of bars and restaurants, etc. all make China one of the least boring places on earth.
Seriously, China is rapidly developing and is trying just about everything from the rest of the world. It is exciting and challenging.
Boring, NEVER!

Hmm...well, I've been in China for a year and a half. It really gets old to be stared at like you are an animal. I guess maybe that is considered boring. Mostly annoying. And every other person in China ripping you off is annoying too. So, yes...China is boring and sucky. I'm only here because I'm volunteering at an orphanage (fortunately that has been a great experience...the kids are really neat people). Oh, yeah..the heavy pollution sucks too. I've been sick more times than I can count.

Absolutely Not.
Evil food pirates in China have developed a way to make fake eggs out of gelatine, benzoic acid, alum, and other ingredients of varying toxicity. The eggs are sold at a very low price to unsuspecting consumers and can be cooked just like the real thing. The good news: no cholesterol. The bad news: eating too many can lead to dementia.
China has TOFU made from paint, fake milk powder, fake rabies vaccine and soft toys stuffed with used sanitary napkin.
Some restaurants "reuse" cooking oil from drainage.
You can also find Duck eggs containing the carcinogenic dye Sudan Red IV.

China is far from boring, if you see something amazing today, tomorrow you will see something even more amazing, however living here can be frustrating, but my best advice is to go with the flow.
A chinese bus can always get more passengers on it.
ALL westerners are rich, no matter how much you try to tell a chinese person, they think you are lying "your a westerner so therefore your rich" end of story.
Yes China is frustrating, anoying, stress makeing, hair pulling, but never never boreing

Heck no, when I was living in Shanghai it was a party town. I could go to Xin Tian Di every weekend and party like its 1999 and also for a change of pace, travel to all those exotic small towns with culture.
Ok the lack of strip clubs is a problem but then again, China is so close to Thailand....just kidding...don't get so bloody PC on me now.
