why cant i see my process name on task manager?

the process has the memory usage numbers like 6,112 and the user name but not the name of the processs and the under vie the part where u put it on is grayed out

Your computer could be infected by spyware or some trojan.

Why not try a better task manager like process explorer. It' was written by Sysinternals, and the company was bought by microsoft.

Once you have downloaded it, extract it to somewhere it wont be deleted. Goto the options menu and select Replace Task Manager if you always want it to come up when you press Control Alt delete or open task manager.
