look, i am STILL a virgin. so i am always asking myself that question, should i do it, or not? when is the right time? blah blah blah. anyways i concluded that i wouldn't want to be having sex in high school, cause i wouldn't want the responsibility of having a kid and still be trying to graduate. There is the risk of getting something too. i also consider to be a type of religious person too. so trying to wait for marriage is a big thing for me, i might not make it, but at least i know i will try. so when these people say wait for the special person, that is also a big factor. you will ALWAYS remember your first, and you would want to remember it well, not some failure. so you should wait and when the time comes you will know. just not in school, it is hard to take care of a baby and still do homework. lol.

I thought that I was ready at 17 years of age when I lost my virfinity- but I wasn't. I only did it because this guy was my first real boyfriend and I thought that this is what I had to do to keep him around. I hated sex for several years because I was not ready or into it at all.

My boyfriend now waited until it wsa right. I took his vrginity at 24 years of age. He is glad that he waited for the righht person to come around. It is more special that way. Yeah he was frustrated- but it was worth the wait,

you know you're ready when you know you love a person, you don't just "think" you love him.. when you're mature enough, when you can actually go through with it, when you completely trust the guy.. there's a lot to it, if you want to be smart about it. A lot of people have sex without thinking things through and they regret it.

In this day and age the longer you wait the better. You have to be mature enough to accept the things that come with sexual intercourse (ex: pregnancy, STD's and AIDS) so unless you think you can handle it I would not do it till you are in love (wait until your at least 18) and or married.

You're ready when you and your partner feel like it. It's a mutual consent type of thing, so don't rush it. Love takes time, but it happens.

you dont want to be too young or too old. there is no set age but you want to make sue that you are really ready. so ypou dont wind up making a mistake that you will regret the rest of your life.

dont be pressured into having sex, its not that big of a deal, find a guy that you love and just go with wat happens, if things do get hot and heavy but you dont feel right dont be afraid to tell him. just remember that this is all up to you and you dont have to do anything you dont want to. you will know when you are ready. good luck
