Is God there for the animal who is psychologically tortured being held captive? Is God there for animals who are caught and die brutal deaths,
how about at human hands?
Is God there for the animals who get skinned alive for the fur trade?
Is God there for the baby seal who gets beaten to death?
Is God there for the calf who is born from artificial insemination, brought here by human hands, only to be tortured it's entire life living in a tiny box being force fed with tubes down it's throat and then brought to the slaughter, dying a brutal death?
Where is God?

mortal combat: where am I? I am only one quite insignificant person, and what can I do?
I don't participate in any way in any of these things, so what else could I possibly do?

I'm going to agree with you 100%. I was watching an animal rescue show the other day while visiting my Parents out of town. I looked at my Mother and said "Do you think these horrible people were raised to not care about the feeling's of people and nature around them." My Mother just watched in silence. We were in disbelief at how some people can be so cruel. Some of the same people that go to Church every Sunday and profess their love for God. I would love to become involved and told My Mother I had every intention. I don't know how to get involved in helping out with Animal Cruelty though.

Since you are so concerned about why God is allowing the death of animals, why don't you join an organization that tries to save animals, instead of blaming God. Remember in everything we are given free will and as horrible as this seems people choose to kill not God. I am a person who is doing all I can to help women make the decision not to abort their babies- however some still do, and I do not blame God. Do not blame God.

The Christian god gave people dominion over the beasts, so they believe they are entitled to do whatever they want to animals with no repercussion.
Fortunately, society on a whole is a little more enlightened than Christians, so we have laws against animal cruelty. Unfortunately, like most laws, it's very hard to stop all the abuses all the time, especially in the livestock & poultry industries. Those are just inhuman.
The best you can do is practice what you believe in, and hopefully people will follow your example. If you change just one person for the better, your struggle will have been worth it. Look at Gandhi.

If you are wondering why God does not save the innocent and show mercy?
God does NOT intervene upon this earth. Man is capable of doing whatever he wants. That is the freedom God gave to us. He wants you to serve him willfully in the manners of his teachings that are of many forms and ways.
People are also free to be evil. They would not listen to God anyway. And what if there was no evil? We would have no need of this earth and God would not know who really Loves him.
Now, about what you can do… Do not wear real fur. Buy your meat from a farmer who you know that treats his cattle with kindness. Teach your children well and to pass the word about cruelty is wrong, no matter what species it might be.

God has given us charge over the earth and all its holds. We are supposed to be good stewerds over everything, but being a stewerd means we also can destroy what we are supposed to protect. Humas make bad judgments over the animals, enviorment, and many other things we control. WE need to change what we do because WE are responsible for what God has given us as a gift.

It is not a question of where is God ,but rather where are people and their common sense. If you see an animal get abused report it.God gave man planet earth as a home ,cannot we control our environment., must the" lawless rogues " control our society ? I am right up their with you, on being disguised, the atrocities !

God made animals for human benefit. I wonder, why didn't you ask where is God for the humans who are being held captive or tortured to death?

death is a natural part of life whether torturous or calm. Humans and animals attack eachother as well as their own. You may not like it and that is your opinion, but it is all in Gods master plan. I am not that religious of a person but believe in these natural processes.

All of the things mentioned is the result of man's sin. God created animals to eat grass but when man sinned they started killing each other. Man is to blame, not God.
