Actually, God cares a lot about getting fiber-optic service in his neighborhood.
Oh wait, that's me!
Sorry, I keep confusing myself with god.

If a god really cared about that he would provide some evidence of what to believe in. If he still cares about that, that is a pretty insane way to run things. Not give any evidence of which is the right religion, actually, point all evidence against organized religions, and then send all those who don't choose the right religion to hell... Who would worship an idol such as this. Reducing the afterlife to nothing more to a lottery.

The bible says that God cares for each of the animals down the the small spparow in the tree, and he meets thier needs. He gives us free will because he does not want robots. He wants the choice to follow or not to be totally ours. He cares about us the same way we cared for that artwork in grade school that we worked so hard on except more so becuse he put more work into us, and we are alive. The "big test" is just our chance to confirm that we are really choosing to do what he wants of our own free will.

Enough with the temper tantrum, God does not dance on our strings. We are not in a place where we can tell Him what to do. Obviously He does care about animals, he created them. We are the ones who have made a mess of things, first by rebelling against God, and now by continuing to do so. We live in a fallen creation which will someday, possibly sooner than we realize, will be remade as it was intended to be. Until then, people will continue to disobey God's instructions to Love one another, to not Kill, to not take what is not ours. You know. all that stuff in the Ten Commandments that the ACLU and the rest of the establishment are so scared of they want to hide them.
Bottom line is, this aint going to go on forever. There is something better coming. Do not lose hope.

Nobody knows what God cares about, but he did give us the intelligence and the discernment to know that massacres, manipulations, cruelty to animals are evil.
Your question should be stated as: If we humans know about evil and cruelty, then why don't we act to prevent such evil?

When Jobe complained to God, God ask him "Do you count the stars every night". If God counts the stars every night I guess He cares about the stars. He also said, A sparrow does not fall from the sky that I don't know about. He cares about birds. He sent His Son to die for our salvation. He cares about us.
We ask God to get out of our schools (can't pray)
We ask God to get out of our Government.
I can go on and on, we basically let the ACLU dictate God out of every aspect of our lives. How can you say he does not care when we ask Him to leave. I guess He cares enought to respect our wishes when we allow others to ask Him to leave. He leaves.
I think a survey was taken that somewhere around 80% of America were Christians. We allow the 20% to dictate. We suffer these attrosities because we are complaciant. Now we pay the price.
You know, in the 40's and 50's we were allowed to pray and teach God in our schools and in public. America was not afraid to piss off our neighbors either. We did not have near the school shootings or problems today. I suggest we go back to the roots, wheather you believe or not,,,, IT WORKED.
Hope this helps

What God really cares about is the human beings he created and having a relationship with them. He cries over the animals and this world, but what is most important to Him is the people. That is why He left heaven to come to earth and then go to hell - so you could spend eternity with Him. Period.
In time, He will create a new heaven and new earth, and it will be populated by the people who chose to have a relationship with Him.

God created this world purely for that reason. He was bored, and wanted to create a world with people to play with. He can't play with us if we don't believe in Him.
Remember also that His initial vision was the garden of eden and all that, so the state of the world now isn't really His fault.

Every being's subjective awareness, whether of pleasure or pain, is a wave pattern which is superimposed on the universal quantum vacuum wave pattern which is God. In other words, God suffers with every suffering creature.

god cares about everyone and everything... we as people however dont care enough to do something about all the problems on earth.. we have the power and yet we do nothing... people need to fix our own problems and stop asking god to do our work.
