my brother decided to bake some cookies and im going to make some banana bread but i have a stuffy nose and i cant taste anything. i want to be able to taste the cookies so is there absolutely anything i can do so i can get my taste back? i really want to taste these cookies!

Let me guess, your nose is completely stuffed up, right? When the nose is blocked the sense of smell is decreased and this directly affects our ability to taste. That's why when we have a cold, all our food taste blah. Unless you can unplug your nose, those cookies aren't going to smell or taste good.

You should stay home. If you're sick and you go to a public place like a restaurant, you're going to infect others. As for your taste: I know, that sucks. I just got over a cold. There's really nothing you can do about it. Just ride it out. What I do, is realize that the day after I'm well, I feel so freakin' awesome. Try to look forward to that.
