If you were diagnosed with clinical depression then this is something that will never go away. It is caused by low levels of seretonin in your brain. Seretonin is used by the nerves in your brain to carry impulses/message from nerve node to nerve receptor. If your body does not create enough seretonin then thoughts and impulses can get stuck in limbo.
Go to see a psychiatrist or your family physician to get back on anti-depressants. Monitor yourself as you take them and don't be upset if at first they do not seem to be helping. It takes about two weeks for any of these medications to get into your system and begin to do you any good. Expect to be very sleepy and unfocused the first few days that you begin them, it is merely a side aeffect. If after two to three weeks the meds are bouying you up some then good, if they don't seem to be doing any good then go back to the doctor and try a diferent medication. Sometimes you'll go through three or four different ones before one does the trick. There is really no way to determine that one specidic pill will work for you. It's all trial and error.
After you've gotten yourself leveled out on the meds, then go see a psychologist. There may be underlyng emotional issues that contribute to any really down feelings you have. If you don't create a bond with one psychologist within a month to six weeks find another. Finding someone you can trust with your inner most feelings is not an easy thing so this too is trial and error.
I hope this helps some and good luck in quest for better mental health.

If you are seriously depressed, and you are not feeling better, you need to change therapists. Several years ago I was in a horrific situation. I will not go into details, but trust me when I say I can understand your situation. I went to several psychiatrists before I found a Doctor who was right for me. The first couple were okay, but did not help me in the way that I needed. I found an incredible Doctor who was wonderful and helped me change my life. Please have your mom keep searching for the Dr. who will help you. I went back to college and have studied this field. Depression can be devastating. If someone has never been clinically depressed it is hard for them to understand the overwhelming feelings of hopelessness. I beg that you get the help you need to lead a happy, healthy productive life.God Bless!

Only a medical Dr can prescribe you medication. A counselor can recommend you someone and they can talk about your diagnosis. You really should seek medical attention for Derpession. It is a serious medical condition and overlooked by to many people in our world today.
Medication can help you get over the worse part while you are in theapy. Theophostic thearapy is amazing. It is a spiritual approach that gets to the root of the problem.
Good luck!

Well, I heard that schizo people were completely cured of their problems by becoming part of a team. Maybe you should do this too: join up with a team; any team would do, and you'll be sorted. Perhaps :s
