i love my lemonade! this is my recipe:
first make a simple syrup (equal parts water and sugar) [this is so you dont taste the gritty sugar bits but rather a smooth drink]
put 1/4 cup water and 1/4 cup sugar in a pot and cook until simmering then mix it into a little less that 2 quarts of water
then add your
1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
refrigerate it until its chilled
and voila! and it only took 3 ingredients!
a tip for getting lemon juice- roll your lemons with the palm of your hands, squeezing down on it.

This is how my grandma used to make it:
Squeeze 6 lemons into your prettiest half-gallon pitcher of water (fresh from the well, if you've got one handy.) Add enough sugar to keep your lips from puckering up over your eyebrows -- about a cup or so, depending on how sour those lemons are.
Stir like a maniac until the sugar dissolves, and pour into your fanciest glasses filled up with ice and a sprig of mint for pretty's sake. There you have it -- the world's best recipe for lemonade!

Lemonade is unquestionably no longer no longer issue-unfastened. For a a million/2 gallon pitcher: initiate up with a million cup of unpolluted squeezed lemon juice, upload a million cup of sugar (extra suitable or much less to form) that has been dissolved in heat water, then fill the pitcher with chilly water or a mix of water and ice. relax for some hours till ultimately its chilly, or in case you're thirsty NOW, in easy terms server over ice.

Squeeze lemons into a cup, mix in water and sugar. Just taste it every so often to see if you want it sweeter ... if so add some more sugar ...
This is the BEST lemonade!
