She still has hope that he will call her back (its only been 2 days). She also says that she may even call him. But I keep telling her to forget it, she gave it up and he is not going to call her back and definatly forget about calling him (the guy is supposed to call the girl). Am I being to pessimistic or am I right?

He will not call her back.
He probably does not think that she wants a relationship, anyway.
Sleeping with someone on the first date, usually means that you found them attractive and just wanted to have some sex.
Now, she could call to make sure that this is what he is thinking.
Abter, if he can expose his body, he can expose his motives.
There are lots of reasons that girls should not sleep with guys on their first date.
But, tell her to move on and be a bit more selective and challenging.
If she really wants to call him, she can. But, she might not like his response.
And, while it is appropriate for a guy to call a girl and not the other way around,
the larger issue is the "sex on the first date."
I think little formalities like "Who makes the first call," are mute.
Whether she calls back or not,
the result will be the same.
She will be looking for a new guy to date.
He's not interested, anymore.

Whether or not he calls her back has nothing to do with having or not having sex on the first date. It has to do with whether he is interested in her or not. I was married for 5 years to a man whom I had sex on the first date with - and we still have a good relationship 6 years after our divorce. If I were her, I certainly would NOT call the guy; if he IS interested - he will call, guaranteed. If he's NOT interested - her calling him would look pathetic and desperate.

It's hard to tell. If your gf gave great or better than average sex and/or head he probably will give her a booty call.
This is reality . . . the way things work.
If she didnt' turn his crank, he may call her on occasion when he is desperate to get off.
So part of your pessimism may be well-founded.

If it was good to him, then he would call her back. Your friend was easy, I hate to say. Men like the chase. She did not even allow him to break a sweat. Tell her to forget about it, and chalk it up as a life lesson. Don't be so eager to share your cookie!!!
