I'm in love with this friend of mine. I can't stand being around lately. But I don't know if telling him would make things worse. I want to and I really believe that he likes me back. But I thought he was just joking around about hooking up and I kind of laughed in his face. He never calls me to hang out. But then again, I think he might have gotten the impression that I didn't want him to. Should I tell him? I'm getting ready to go insane. There are other guys I'm attracted to, but they can't even hold a candle to him. I can't even date anyone! Please help me! Oh, would it be weird to tell him this month because it's Valentines Day?

Of course just a smile can be enough for someone to know that you care about don't wait till Valentine's day make your own love day and tell this person that he is very special to you because maybe tomorrow will never come and you will never have the opportunity to tell him how your feel and you will regret it so telling this person i love will really change every thing........

He's a jerk. Aaah-he's a guy. Let's face it I am in love with my fiance' but even the greatest guy in the world can be a jerk. Before we finally got serious I broke up with him. For the same reasons you described. He didn't know what he wanted. One day he would talk to me about marriage and our future together and the next he would say he didn't know if I was "the one." If you ask him now he will say he had to lose me before he realized what he had. You deserve better girl! Let him go and move on. Give yourself some space to grow into your own skin. If he comes back (LATER-down the line when your absence has been dually noted) then you know its real. No one needs that kind crap. It's not healthy for either of you. Maybe you should ask him if he was serious about hooking up before you go ahead and tell him you're in love with him. Get an idea of how he's feeling to avoid any potential embarrassment.

You need to tell him the truth. Apparently, he told you his feelings and now he thinks that you don't feel the same way. It's silly to worry about valentines day. It is more important to work things out.

Well, maybe if you told him he would feel the same. If he rejects you, you can switch it up to meaning that you love hiim like family or something to that effect--- so that way it won't ruin your friendship if he doesn't feel the same.

In your position, it is going to bug you until you get that off your chest.
But DO NOT SAY LOVE, say "I really like you"... If you say you love him, he will think you strange and naive.
Love is deep and intense, you probably don't love him.
