If God is the creator of the Material Universe, and is capable of creating something from nothing, then why would he sanction war? If He could wipe out the whole Planet with the wave of His hand, why would he need some religious nuts, and zealious governments/religions to accomplish it one bullet at a time, or one terrorist act at a time?

It is God's (will) to reconcile all of his creation to Himself. Do you think it is His will to war? Reconcilliation and forgiveness cannot equal war.

Well in the old testament he sanction the the systematic extermination of Baal and Beelzebub worshipers. but they liked incinerating their own living children to death in their worship practice. Really pissed off God to no end. So he told the Jews to kill them all, every man woman child and even the animals and crops. I have heard that there is a false Koran and a true Koran.. The false Koran support extermination of infidels or in other words everybody that does not believe the way they they do.

We make decisions and choices that affect ourselves and each other - that is the free will that God gives. The word "sanction" implies to me that God wants or approves it - which he never does.
He is our Creator and harm to us greatly grieves him.
There are times unfortuantely when war is neccesary (like the Nazis, or to end slavery), but I always wonder how people equate God with it, like he ordains it...
We are under the dominion of his hand but he never interferes with our choices - that is in his wisdom. Why would he want programmed robots to follow him - it has to be our choice - like the tragedies of war and the other pain of this world, but our broken ways are not his will. That is what sin is - we rebel from him, and create a broken world - by our choices that come from a sin nature of greed, vanity, lust, self-centeredness, etc.

Very good question.

God doesn't sanction war. But he does sanction his creations--humans. He allows us to express ourselves in what ever manner we feel fit. So war is not something you can blame on God and run crying through the streets asking why doesn't he stop this madness. This is something humans need to look at in themselves and ask why do I feel I have the right to wage war with my fellow human beings?

First off to answer your original question YES God does sanction war at times. He has given humans free will to make decisions on our own. He's merciful beyond our wildest imagination which leads to His hesitancy to destroy mankind. He did promise, however, that when His Son returns the earth will be destroyed by fire.

The Muslim religion is the only religion that openly advocates war, hate and terrorism. Of course, every other religion is guilty of all of these crimes, they just don't admit it so readily. The problem is that religion has absolutely nothing to do with God. Religion is man's attempt to control other men. Any similarity between religion as practiced on our planet and God is purely coincidental.

Considering that the God of the bible IS a God of war (and I assume that's the one you are talking about) then yes, he would.
