Intoxicated rats ?

In the test labs for alcoholic beverages, do they use lab rats ?

Is this cruel, or would it be funny to watch an intoxicated rat ?

I dont know if they use rats, but it would be cruel. Rats can easily become alcoholics as they crave the sugar in alcohol.

i dont know if they use rats but i think its cruel because the rats have livers that are so small, they'll probably DIE from a drop of alcohol.

I do not think so as they cannot ingest a drop of alcohol.....nor do the dogs for that matter!
