Take it slow but use it. And wait for the swelling to go down and for your ankle to feel better.

Go walking. Keep it above your heart at night or when resting.
If walking is painful use R.I.C.E.
rest, ice, compression and elevation

Compression dressings, bandages or ace-wraps immobilize and support the injured ankle.

If your ankle is in pain that means its weak. You do not want to injure it further.

My suggestion as an instructor is that you should see a doctor so he can properly diagnose whats wrong. Your best bet is an orthopedic surgeon and in a last case a sports medicine doctor. It could be nothing or it could be even fracture or other ligament tears, so dont take chances and get it check out. Good luck.

Take it slow, but work out in other ways that doesn't involve the movement of your foot.

if its swollen, put ice on it to reduce the swell and raise your foot so the blood doesn't come to swellen area or it will get worse. wait for a couple more days.

The smartest way is to allow it to heal proper. It is easier to reinjure it now than it was to injure it in the first place.

Just go easy on it. You could ice it. That may help.
In martial arts feet are pretty important.
