get my bellybutton pierced?!
she told me id be able to back last year, but then she got a new boyfriend and hes convinced her not to let me. any1 have any ideas on how i can convince her??
pleasee help cuz ive always wanted it pierced!!

Just keep nagging her to get it done, ask her why a man would change her mind about something like that, can't she make her own decisions without a man.

When my sister wanted her belly button pierced and my mom was against it, my mom said if my sister could do a little research on belly button piercing then she would consider it. So my sister did research on where the tradition started, its importance in mainstream society, etc etc and she then wrote a short essay on what she found. When she showed that to my mom my mom realized she was truly interested in getting it done and was aware of the responsibilities it entailed.
So maybe if you do something similar it will show your mom and her boyfriend that this is something you truly want and not just a spur of the moment thing.

Looks like the new boyfriend has more sense than the two of you together . To pierce a bellybutton is about the worst a women can do . That is one area on your body that is very delicate .Please be mature enough about this whole thing and don't do this .

Just wait till your 18. That is what I had to do because my mom wouldn't consent. When I got it done is was about $35 and I had to spend about $10 for some stuff to keep it from getting infected. :)

tell your mother that you want it now while your young because you know that you wont be able to where it when you are old and you dont want to miss out on the experience so you need it now while your young

ASk for something INSANE! like a new phone or a CAR! or a trip to somewhere she'd never let you go to. then ask for what you really want.

Beg. My friend got hers done on the boardwalk. My mom got it and my dog jumped on her and it ripped out, so think twice. ANd ure mom said no. Get over it.
