You need a lawyer and a witness would help. Why would you not report it to the bank? What did you use in the meantime? You have to have replaced your license at some point....
Otherwise, it is like not reporting your car stolen and later learned it was used in a bank robbery. You gotta prove it.

You're being charged with forgery? If they were your checks that they used, it wouldn't be a forgery charge, since your name would be on them.
If this is an entirely different matter, regarding other checks, I'm sure the investigation would show that your signature was a forgery (from the other person).

The 1963 Vienna convention states that if a overseas nationwide is arrested, the police ought to indicate the defendant of his precise to inform the consulate of his united states of america, precise away. yet in 2005, the U. S. pulled out of the optional protocol which may enable the international court docket of Justice to intervene even as a overseas nationwide has been denied get admission to to the consulate even as arrested in a rustic that has signed on to the convention. Then in 2006, the ultimate court docket ruled that a overseas nationwide gained't use the convention to develop criminal stressful circumstances after the trial. i imagine this is a grey section concerning Medellin's case. of direction, the U. S. violated the convention even as the arresting officials did not provide Medellin the right to the contact his consulate. notwithstanding the international court docket of Justice is powerless to intervene because the U. S. is now no longer portion of the protocol. The question is even if Medellin's denial of rights to the contact his consulate may be interpreted as "elevating criminal stressful circumstances" after his trial. if so, the U. S. is not in any respect legally obligated to envision his case. As for the 50 others, the U. S. ought to easily locate 3 who were really scheduled to be finished, and all of those have had their sentences commuted to existence in detention center. The international court docket has no rights or powers to intervene therefore because the U. S. pulled out of the optional Protocol portion of the convention. Bush won't be able to overrule the courts. He won't be able to implement a determination of the international court docket, because the U. S. and Texas are literally uncertain with assistance from the protocol. i'm constructive Medellin had a truthful trial the following, a lot extra truthful than he ought to have had elsewhere, even in Mexico. He murdered 2 teenage females in chilly blood. He might want to commence praying.
