You can 'opt out' of marketing materials by visiting
http://opt-out.cdt.org/ and filling out the form. You can call the company that sends you the mail and ask that they remove your name from their list (if you can figure out who sends it to you). You can choose to ignore all junk mail and not look at the name on the envelopes - just toss it in the recycle bin unopened. And, you can celebrate your ancestry (or husband's/father's) even though you don't speak the language . . . all names have some sort of ethnic ancestry - don't sweat the small things.

You can choose to look at it as an insult (that companies assume you can't speak English).
You could also choose to look at it as a sign of respect that a company wants to reach out to a potential hispanic market. You could also choose to assume the companies believe that its target households are bilingual rather than being unable to read English.

Oh don't worry, they aren't just singling you out. I get it all the time too, and my last name is not anything hispanic sounding. Often you can send a reply back, tell them how you feel! Maybe YOU can make a difference!

If they include a postage-paid envelope, stuff it full of all kinds of junk mail, pizza coupons, etc. along with a note that you don't understand Spanish. Hopefully, they will get the message. If not, you can get some satisfaction that they will have to pay extra postage for sending you their junk.

Well, where I live, we have these things called shredders. You drop paper in it that has your name and address on it and the machine chews it all up. If it doesn't have your name on it and there's no other personal info on it what I do is put it in this thing called a trash receptacle. I bet you probably have both those things where you live. If not, you can order them on line. (It even works when it's something in Spanish that offends you. ) Try it. Oh, you might also want to chill out a little.

it is alright to deliver this digital mail even nevertheless it is extra sensible in case you refer to him in guy or woman simply by fact instructors do not consistently respond to emails. whether he does respond, in keeping with what you have informed me, I doubt that it will make a distinction. he will probable save away from or stay away from the digital mail and not talk approximately it to you. so because it is why i think of it is extra sensible to speak to him in guy or woman, the place he would be unable to save away from, in case you be attentive to what I recommend. only state your factors to him and why you think of that's a concern. additionally, be very tactful simply by fact instructors are somewhat mushy to pupils asserting that they have got not got lecture room administration. It makes the instructor look undesirable. i'm not asserting which you're tactless yet only remember that when you deliver this up, the instructor's somewhat probable to get indignant so only be careful.

I'm in the same situation. Just throw it away, they are just taking a shot in the dark to sell whatever they sell. Just like telemarketers in English.
