Do you think we come back as humans if we are human now or can we come back as something else. If you can come back as something else, what would you like to? I'd be a cat, perferably a house cat or a farm cat and I'd travel around and help people. Not an alley cat because I could easily get run over.

If you look for evidence go to Dr. Deepak Chopra's Q&A. Difficult to argue with an expert. Now going back to your question imagine yourself that you are done with your current body. In this situation you will be able to have any of your questions(including this one) answered and open yourself to new questions you never even dreamed existed. You may choose to experience anything you need for your development. No one there will be forcing you to be something you don’t want to. The only judgment you will find will be your own. It will be up to you to choose to experience life again in human form. You may choose to remain where you are at your development level. You may choose to go on further in your knowing and experiencing. You may choose to loose your identity altogether and become part of Oneness. You may choose what you wish. For the universe knows nothing except how to grant your deepest wishes and desires. The universe is doing that every moment, every day. The problem is that you are not consciously aware of this YET.

Personally, I believe we come back as human. Though I do like the idea of coming back as a cat... or even a bird of prey (a hawk preferably). But I believe the lessons we learn in each life are retained for a specific reason... just not as a memory as many claim. Nothing like the repressed lives we read about.

Based on my beliefs, what form you take in your next life is dependent on the karma you have accumulated in this life. If you had good karma, most likely you will get a human form. Bad karma predicts an animal form (or a human in pretty bad shape). The goal, though, is not to be reborn at all. This is achieved by doing good karma, or surrendering to God through meditation, devotion, or whatever other method. God then takes away your karma, so you have nothing that would drive you into another birth.

I believe in it, and it's my understanding that you don't go backwards to a lower lifeform when you reincarnate, because it's all about evolution. You keep going forward in a big circle, until you finally get back to where you started, kinda like a Monopoly game. Then you will go back down to lower life forms like plants and animals.

But right now since we're in human form, in our next life we'll be more evolved humans or whatever species that's more evolved than us. So I'd like to come back as a spiritual leader, and when I make my way back down to animals it'd be cool to be a tiger or lion.

for me, reincarnation is like this: We are all composed of an ineffable energy, right? Everything on the earth has a chunk of this energy - some call it God, others call it Gaia - and when we die, our "soul" or this energy source, returns to the greater energy field. We are "born again" or reincarnated when this energy is absorbed into a new soul, no matter what form it may take, be it a rock, a cat, a planet, a person or a carrot.

my opinion...only...

hope it helps!

I think that we can comeback as anything. I would want to be a human that wasn't a diabetic. If I was coming back as an animal I would want to be a butterfly. I would get to fly around and if I didn't like being a butterfly it wouldn't be long until I moved on to the next life.

I personally think that we cannot evolve to a lower life form once we are humans. A lot of people who believe in reincarnation differ in this belief, but I think that we will stay human in our next and previous lives.

I think that u would come back as anything maybe depending on how u treat certain animals/humans. I don't think we would really have a choice.

Hey but if we did totally agree with you on d house cat thing, talk about a great life.

Actually, the belief that people can come back as animals is called transmigration, and derives from animistic belief systems that existed prior to the advent of Hinduism or Buddhism.

Being an animal isn't good, because animals can't control themselves. They constantly have to find food and hide from other animals who are trying to eat them. Ignorance prevails in the animal world, so it's good to be reborn as a human-or better.
