I have a headache that is generally in the back of my head and my ears kind of hurt too. I have been shakey all though I have eaten pretty good today (carbs, fruit, cheese, chicken). My chest and back of my throat feels kind of tight. I drank last night also and I had a headache immediatly when I woke up this morning. Am I getting sick or are they symptoms of a hangover?
ps. I was around a friend who had pnamonia - could I be getting it?

It could be one of either or both even. I would reccomend getting some gatorade which will replace electrolytes, and get plenty of water. The shakeyness could be caused from a lack of them, and the headache almost definately is. When you dehydrate your body, gross as it sounds, your brain starts to shrivel slightly pulling from your skull. Sound gross? That's what a hangover headache is, and that's why it hurts so gosh darn badly.

As for what would be best to eat, try banannas and oranges to replace potassium, plus the vitamins will be GREAT for your body if it is a sickness, and make sure, again, to get LOTS of water. See how you feel tomorrow, as 24 hours is plenty to make sure it isn't a hangover.

Well lt could very well be both. a hangover plus you probably do have a virus or the flu of some sort. just take in plenty of fluids and stay on a liquid diet and don`t drink.
