I think that they are kinda waste of time. Some of my friends "go out" with a guy but they don't even speak together once....what would you call that? How many of you waited to have a relatonship until High School?

You are wise beyond your years. "Dating" if thats what you call it, in middle school is very silly. It's not even considered dating if you the two people involved don't speak to each other. That is a waste if time. Take if from someone in college- don't bother. Wait until you can have a mature relationship with someone in high school or maybe not unitl college.Good luck to ya smart girl!

Usually, middle school relationships are pointless. I don't want to come off as a hypocrite, because I've been in my relationship since eighth grade. But we've been best friends since seventh grade, and really, being in a relationship together is just our way of saying we really like and care about each other. We still hang out and talk as much as we did when we were best friends, but I guess we do hang out a little more. But anyway, major "relationships" shouldn't really happen until you're at least sixteen or seventeen (im fifteen). So yeah, you're right. They are a waste of time in middle school for those that just do it to say they have a bf/gf. A lot of ms couples really don't even talk or anything. That's dumb.

I think they are full of crap and are a waste of time. First of all no one in Middle School is mature enough to be in a serious relationship so they just end up being some two weeks of just lust. Secondly, during the transition from Middle School and High Scool, you are gonna be meeting new ppl, tryin new things, and just wanna experience stuff. No one wants to be tied down to a person when they are meeting sum1 new and cool each day. In conclusion, THEY DON'T LAST. Maybe high school relationships, cuz there u are more mature and u have seen everyone u have to see and u settle down with da ryte one. That's my opinion.

In advance i'll tell everyone to NOT completely disregard middle school relationships as never working........most dont because ppl are too immature but as a boyfriend in a 10 month relationship rite now as we speak as a 13 year old with a 13 year old girl and me and my gf talk everyday in person see eachother 6 days a week spend a lone time and have pretty much became like best friends in love.. (i kno no thinks i could be in love)

Middle School relationships almost NEVER last. Theyre a complete waste of time, Jr High kids never know what they want and they have no idea what theyre getting themselves into until theyre in too deep. I'm a junior in HS, trust me..I know these things lol I dated in Jr High a few times but they never lasted, now I have an amazing guy I've been with for over a year.

it depends on what grade.
may b 8th is ok but im a frosh this yr and i have a bf.
im my bf's first gf cuz his parents wouldn't let him have a gf.
but like 7th and younger is way 2 young. my friend's lil sis always talks bout who's datin who and im like no u guys r 2 young.
