I am in the 6th grade and alot of my friends have boyfriends but i don't. My sister says that guys only like skinny girls like her and that i am fat. is she right or just trying to hurt my feelings? will i find a boyfreind?

yes u will. just try and make yourself happy. dont worry about dating. your only in grade 6. im in grade 10 and never had a girlfriend. dont worry about it. your still young try to have fun when u still can. not all boys are that shallow. good luck

Your sister is right. Lose weight and get healthy. You should not pork up like that so early in life. Wait until you are married to let yourself go. How you take care of yourself says a lot about how you feel about yourself. Right now, you're only going to be able to attract guys that are fatter than you. Is that what you want? Well, neither does anybody else.

Sounds pretty hurtful if you ask me. Though on the other hand being over weight is not healthy. Try to do some exercising and eat a little healther. Not for boys sake for your own confidence. That is when guys come around. They sense it. Feel better about yourself and everything and everyone will change. GL

okay, this question so contradicts your "under developed" question. if your sister calls you fat and if it was true, you'd have boobs. obviously you're not fat since you don't have boobs. (no offense or anything.)
who cares if all your other friends have boyfriends? can i just say that in 6th grade they shouldn't even be called boyfriends. it really doesn't count as "going out" in 6th grade. it'll start being real in, like, 8th grade.

you're in the 6th grade!!!!! don't worry about guys yet!!!! you have your whole life to get a guy so just wait. I'm 15 and a sophmore in high school and I'v never had a bf. my best friend just got her first bf at the age of 15 over the summer. wait!!!!!

middle school sucks...A LOT. my suggestion to you is this, dont go out and be a slut just to get a guy and dont be so afraid that you wont do anything. middle-school relationships are even more idiotic than highschool relationships. dont listen to your sister, just be healthy. most guys DONT want really skinny chicks they want girls who are healthy, not fat, not suer skinny anerexic er anything, just healthy.
