that there are no sparks and that she wants to break up but wants to remain friends does that mean that she is not being truthful? The reason i am asking is that she claimed that i am "everything she wants in a boyfriend.. she just doesnt get the butterflies." I respect the way she feels, and i do want to remain friends but i just have a feeling that she isnt being truthful (although she is pretty straightfoward). This decision by her was pretty much out of left field even though she said shes felt like this for a month. She had two brain surgeries (one of them 5 months ago), and her last boyfriend was a jerk, so i think that maybe she is afriad. From a female perspective.. what does it mean when a girl says these things? SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!

its not u, honestly. she just would rather have you as a friend. its not cos ur weird or anything, she just feels like she doesnt want to be romantic with you anymore. its normal, because when you're first going out its all excitement and with some couples that ends. dont worry. youll have other girlfriends. dont dwell on it.

i know EXACTLY how she feels.
she means that you are really sweet & she likes you, but as a FRIEND, not a boyfriend.
if she still wants to be friends, thats a good thing!
i'm guessing she thinks that you don't really like her.
if your everything she wants in a guy, obviously she likes you, but doesn't think you like her.
does that make any sense?

It means you don't turn her motor but she likes you as a person. That's what we call, "friends".
