We laugh, tell jokes, cry...all that great stuff. However, he is NOT what I want for a boyfriend. He's 27 and still attending college. I'm 22 and farther along than he is.
We've already once had a 'define the relationship' talk where he asked if I liked him. I told him when we first met I thought we could have something possibly, but the more I hang out with him, the more I don't see it.
I am attracted to other guys. Now I'm starting to get annoyed at the fact that he wants more and thinks that I do when I just like to hang out with him!!!!!
Is there a good song too that I could send to him to help him get the picture? I plan on talking with him about this but I'm scared of hurting his tender feelings. Because I do love him...just NOT LIKE THE WAY HE WANTS ME TO!
Please help :*-(

No, seriously guys. I'm not attracted to him.
In fact, I'm annoyed that this is happening.

This happens to me as well. I had a good friend, I'd say one of my very best friends, go off the deep end when he was convinced we were meant for eachother and I just wasn't feeling it.

My suggestion is to conduct your personal life as you would if he wasn't interested in you. Just don't rub it in. If he freaks out, you may have to distance yourself. I started seeing someone pretty much immediately after my friend told me he had the hots for me, it wasn't intentional, it just happened that way. My friend went on a tirade about it, on me night and day about what a flake this other guy was. It got tiresome and I was upset that I was happy and he wasn't happy for me. It took a year but we mended fences...meanwhile he figured out he had to go get his own life and he dare not interfere in with things with my new man. Be firm but gentle, enjoy your life, and expect everyone to be responsible for their own feelings because that's how grown folks do it.

Sometimes, we just need to say what we feel and this is probably one of those times. Be gentle when telling him but also make sure he understands where your coming from. AND, don't be leading him on. Not saying you are, but of course we know this won't help at all in this" platonic" friendship that you want with him. Good luck!

This is something important, though he may have tender feelings, you need to tell him. It is something that you should tell him now, so as to not make him keep on doing this, and it will help you avoid emotional pain.

Break it to him gently... if he breaks down, comfort him and find him another girl. But if he gets mad and tried to strangle you, go with it. Once he done, get a gun or a club and **** him up. Then go out with that guy you like.

Just explain to him that you like your relationship the way it is. don't send him a song and hope he gets it, because if he doesn't it'll just embarrass you.
