Is there any kind of medication for a compulsive liar?

My brother lies so much and its really starting to worry the whole family everone has confornted him and he just boldly looks you in the eye and lies at you again even if you catch him in the act hell say something like no i didnt or that persons lying please if anyone knows help alls we do is pray for him

Meds no, he needs to see a psychiatrist to have behavioral treating and so does the family so you can all know how to deal with him and how to help change him, otherwise he won't stop.
Go with the family to a psychiatrist and tell them about the problem they can give you all tips on how to handle him then have another session with the same psychiatrist but this time bring him in and have him take a session with them.
People who lie often do it to feel as though they have power and him admitting he is lying is probably something he will never do as he doesn't want to feel so "weak".
There could be a cause of this maybe he feels he is lacking attention from the family even if he isn't maybe theres some other reason maybe its purley a bad habit.

There isn't a med for a liar, per se, but what he really needs to do is get into Counseling to find out the reasons why he's lying (insecurity? fear of speaking the truth and its consequences? drugs?) He needs to break though his denial of this problem. A good Psychologist can help him to reach that point. Good luck!

Bud's Girl has the answer. What he needs is to go to a licensed Therapist to seek professional help. Lying is a problem when it is excessive.

How old is he? Maybe military school or a good beating.
