It is really hard to figure out what you are asking.

I will guess that when you start your computer it takes a long time to boot up.

I will tell you stuff that may be the problem, but you might want help to fix it.

First, if you have a slow computer,( for example) like 1.6 GB speed or low Ram like 128, or 256, It might take awhile for your computer to got through the startup procedures.

If your computer was fast before but not now, you might have too many things that come up on start up.
When you download, MSN and Yahoo, it automatically opens on start up unless you uncheck this feature in the download, lots of other programs are the same, and this slows start-up considerably...Get someone who knows what they are doing to go through your start up menu and have these things removed from auto matic and put shortcuts on you desktop so you control when they are activated.

Also your computer may have slowed because you don't maintain it

you have to use Disc Clean-up, And Disc Defragmenter on a regular basis.

Disc Clean-up is

Click Start
Click All Programs
Click Accessories,
Click System Tools
Click Disc Cleanup

A box will come up with your hard drive listed, Click OK or yes whatever is there.

Wait until the program analyzes your system, may take 15 Minsw
When box comes up saying how much space can be freed up click Ok
And it will say "are you sure" click yes or OK

It will take up to 15 mins to do this, but the box will go away when finished.
Do not use your computer while this is going on.

Disc defragmenter is basically the same, you analyze your drive, it it says you should defragment...Do it
Don't use your computer while this is happening, could take an hour or two depending on the fragmented files and size of hard drive.

If it says you don't have enough drive space to do it, just click cancel

Try these, your computer shouldn't take as long to boot.
