It really all depends. If you really like this girl, you think you're going to be together awhile, and your relationship is strong, it might be worth the risk of telling your parents. Depending on the type of parents you have it could go either way. If you sat down and talked to your parents about it and calmly told them your feelings for her they might understand. If your parents are the strict, play-by-the-rules type than it might be more difficult.
If your relationship is new and just getting started I'd wait awhile before telling your parents. There's no sense in going through all that drama for a relationship that might end in a few weeks. Besides, if your parents think she is just your friend you'd probably have better luck getting permission to have her over than if they knew she was your girlfriend.

Well the thing about my parents is that they are almost always right. If you do not want 2 hide it from your parents then tell them. Or you can ask his girl 2 wait. You dont need a gf right now. I had my first bf when I was 17 and over a year later and we are still 2gether. You know your parents best. You can tell them, dont tell them or wait.
(p.s. lying never works.)

I say yes, and i agree with your parents saying no gf's before 16, for numerous reasons, but the main factor is a one that i share also, "Education first, relationships after" get a good education then get a girlfriend, cos as soon as you get a gf and all your attention is on her your grades start dropping ;-)

this may be a stable question, in case you have been under 18 and nonetheless lived at homestead.. As you in all probability do no longer stay at homestead.. i see no clarification why you may could tell your parents you're happening a familiar date.. you're no longer obligated to tell them till you experience you may desire to. you're sufficiently previous to choose whom you date than your parents..

Well yeah! Honesty is a key factor in the parent-child relationship. Inform your parents about what's going with you before something you regret happens.

Im gonna go with yes, though I was tempted to say no.
My parents also had this 'rule'. Its bs. All the other kids dating..
Anyways though, they probably will find out somehow, so you should tell them.

In a situation like this I would be stuck. My parents would kill me if they found out. But it is worse if you hide it from them,it's your call.
