Braces are expensive and require more than one visit and payment. It will cost over $2000 and insurance will be very beneficial. If teeth must be pulled to get the braces then the price goes up more. Some people only need braces on a few teeth, tops or bottoms only or fronts only. The need determines the price. Thats why you cant find any prices. The color of the braces also effect the price. Clear braces cost more than metal. Behind the teeth braces cost even more. After braces are removed fitted mouth guards wore at night or all day add more onto the cost. And braces can be wore from 6 months to 3 years with tightening visits and band changes. Not a fun experience!

I think average is $5000. If you parents have insurance, it will help pay for some of that. You might be asked to put a down payment of around $1000 and pay monthly around $130 for 18 months after the down payment is made. It may vary from person to person, but I think that's about average. You can pay the monthly payments while you're braces are in.

If you really want to know about pricing, set up a consult at a few orthodontic offices. The doctor will meet with you and discuss your treatment plan, pricing, etc. You mentioned only needing braces on your "top front", which is termed as "limited banding" in ortho offices. Limited banding is obviously going to be less expensive than full banding (upper and lower braces), but I wouldn't assume that is all your going to need. The doctor takes in the whole picture: alignment, bite, etc., to form a treatment plan. At my office the average treatment (for full banding) is around $5000. The easiest way to get a realistic estimate is to sit down and discuss it with an orthodontist or treatment coordinator.

I am not to sure about Gentle Dental. If I were you I would look into a general dentist that practices ortho.I work a dentist that does this. We use delta force brackets and depending on your treatment we have most patients out of baces in about two years sometime quicker. I have seen ortho work from Apple and Monarch... I would not go to either of these place. Alot of dental offices offer things to help with cost like Care Credit and other outside financing. The average price is 3-4 thousand for braces. Please do your homework on this matter. Your teeth are very important and with the delta force brackets your going to get quicker move ment and less root resorbtion

I just got braces put on Thursday and my total for top and bottom (gonna have them for 2 1/2 years) was $4,980. I had to put down a $2,000 down payment and I have $100 monthly payments. If you have insurance they do not pay everything at once. Because they know you are going to have braces for awhile they break up the payments. Like my insurance pays $1,500 for braces, but they break that up into 24 monthly payments.

Holly what your individuals think of shouldn't remember in case you decide on braces and are not getting them it would desire to reason some terrible soreness to the overlapping tooth as you grow previous. Your roots initiate bumping jointly and boy do I remember that soreness!!!!!! do not forget your tooth. right this is my recommend: do not do the sparkling!! Why? The sparkling is obvious and somewhat invisible yet they're very cumbersome and could be considered baring on your lips once you mouth is close. I definitely have the common metallic braces with silver bands, they mixture with the metallic and that they extremely bulge! solid success!

It will depend on what orthodontists in your area charge. You can call them and they can give you an estimated price. We charge about $2000 for upper appliances, which is broken down into monthly payments.
There's also a chance that you have have more going on that you realize. You may just want your front teeth straightened, but if your bite is off, then a good orthodontist will want to correct that. If that's the case, then you could be looking at upper and lower appliances to correct your bite.

Every place is different so you will not find prices on the web. Braces cost 3-4 thousand dollars for the entire treatment.

From my experience everyone's braces cost different. There are many factors that play into the cost. Length of time to wear them, if you break them a bunch, etc... Why not contact local orthodontists and ask them?

I paid about $3,000 for braces(the metal kind). I had no insurance, so your cost may be less. I know that the 'Invisalign' braces cost more, but I don't know how much. Good Luck!
