The "Bush" team has made a serious bold play for control of the Middle East. They have done this after calculating the opportunity created by the collapse of the Soviet Union and the lack of major world power opposition to their moves. They took advantage of 9/11 to mobilize the American people behind their plan, using misinformation and lies to convince us that, although Al Qaeda was responsible for our being attacked and they were based in Afghanistan, we needed to invade Iraq to protect our national security. They did this so well, we are now years into the war and occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, we have amassed a mountain of debt, our casualties are near 26,000 wounded and dead, and the Iraqis are near 1,000,000 wounded and dead, Iraq and Afghanistan have been reduced to rubble, and those who remain alive live without basic services like water, fuel, and electricity, and often food, and BushCo still moves toward attacking Iran as the final piece in their Middle East power play, when they will effectively control all the oil in the region! The American public and Congress are still so bamboozled by this deliberate confusion, we still discuss whether the "surge" will work and how much more time is needed to bring order to Iraq! Your question, though poorly received by many, is one that is in some way on the minds of people all over the US, and of people around the world and especially those in the Middle East. "What is wrong with this picture?" is about where most people are in catching up with the real BushCo agenda. While just today, as another 150 or so people die in explosions in Iraq and Afghanistan, your question goes to the painful reality created BushCo and their plans. Will Congress move to stop this? Will the American people give them the support they need to act? It looks, sadly, like there is still a long way to go. Keep trying with your efforts.

Wait a minute, I don't get something. A Sunni suicide bomber drives a ton of explosives into a Shiite neighborhood and kills 121 people with it.

Now, which side exactly is the innocent Iraqi rebel, and which side is the Christian Redneck US Troops?

Frankly I am confused.

I'm confused.

Tyrants only send volunteers into war?

Tyrants liberate other countries from dictatorial rule?

So Kennedy was a Tyrant?

To my Dear Liberal friend,

You wouldn't understand. Your brain isn't wired correctly. You know nothing of duty, honor, or country. You have never served your country a day in your life and unfortunately for he rest of us real Americans, you are using up valuable oxygen. Sleep well tonight, your Armed Forces are standing guard.......................

How short sighted of you! Look who is supplying Iran with nuclear capabilities and China with anti-satellite capabilities!
In this current world it is kill or be killed. If we pull out of Iraq we will be perceived as weak and then China and Russia will come after us!
BE AFRAID! BE VERY AFRAID!

"Tyrant"??? Oh, but you're much too kind. I mean, we know you like the guy! However, we have a problem with your characterisation of our soldiery. These are young men and women who're superbly motivated but abysmally educated and equipped. Curse their leaders, not them: the warrior never gets to pick his fights.
