i wanted to know if guys like girls with short hair or long hair better and if so why

Most guys I've met prefer long hair on girls but it depends on both the guy and the girl..... The girl has to look good with short hair first. Then it's up to the guy to decide if he thinks that particular girl looks good with shorter hair...
P.s. by short hair I mean above the shoulders.

I like long hair more, I think girls with long hair look very cute. But there is more to this. It all depends on body shape, face structure and height of a girl. Because length and style of hair can play as a visual illusion too... Some girls with long ponytail look wider in the lower part of body, while the same girl with long curly hair looks thiner in the lower part of the body but wider in the upper part of body...
It can all be visual illusion and it's a magic and an art that is much different from girl to girl. What makes one girl pretty could make other girl look boring...

I prefer hair that will is shoulder length or longer, And also since that men who like ladies are more often then not directly, they like long hair because it looks more feminine, as most men have short hair.

Either is fine. Long hair can be very attractive, but my first girlfriend wore hers quite short.

i think most guys like long hair, but short, tousled hair on girls look nice too. very sexy...

very long hair is nice but requires maintenance and u have to grow this out for a long time
