This is something that I've noticed for about two years now. It's not really a problem I'm just curious why this happens...

I've noticed that on days where I don't do much of anything (such as Sundays) and I eat something unhealthy I almost always get the runs. However I've noticed that on days when I'm very active, such as a day at the mall and I eat something very unhealthy, my stomach does fine.

So my question is, why does my stomach mess up on days where I don't do much, but do fine on days that I'm active?

I'm sure that it's not just a coincidence...like I said, it's something I've been noticing for nearly two years

And to the very rude girl who said ewww that's gross, I'm sorry I'm not perfect like you are

I don't know all the scientific terminology, but it sounds like when you eat unhealthly and do nothing for that day, your body expells some of the stuff that you would normally absorb and need for nurishment/fuel on those others day where you are active. I have the opposite prob..but many people I know and have trained with they are prone to having the runs on days where they don't train and eat something high in fat.

Well, I've developed my own theory that moving around also moves around your digestive system and helps stuff digest. Just sitting might not work as well for the inner digestive tubes.

Although I woudlnt' think it would make a huge difference. Are you sure it isn't just coincidence?

you're body isn't used to the unhealthy food so "getting the runs" is it's way of cleansing the body of those unhealthy things

I agree-that's gross. Get offline and see an actual doctor. Do any of us look like we went to medical school? I think not.
