I'm looking for an easy step by step grape wine recipe

remove stems, mash 4 qt grapes and 4 qt boiling water. let stand 1 week then strain. to each gallon add 4 lbs sugar. crock .ferment. strain and bottle. improves with age

Get a bleach container, rinse, fill with warm water & sugar and yeast. Set. The bleach container's "safety" cap is ideal for allowing gases to vent without allowing oxygen back in.
Cook the grapes to remove bacteria, then add to mixture.

That said, I have heard that grape skins naturally acquire the yeast needed for fermentation and that picking, crushing, and storing is all one needs to do. I have not tested this, tho. I have tested the above step, and I am currently testing the fruit part of it. As for the first step above, laughably easy hooch.

If you can't get acid blend, you might try substituting citric acid, sold as "sour salt" in the supermarket. You can probably get away with not using the pectic enzyme. Your chances of producing a good wine from Welch's are slim, though.
