Keep trying to talk to her. Send her letters. I don't know what happened between you and your mother. I'm sure that no matter what you and your mother can get things right again. It might be a long time. Send her pictures of your daughter when ever possible. Let her know everything that is going on in your life. My parents and brother had a falling out 18 years ago and they haven't spoke to one another since. My niece and nephew grew up not knowing their grandparents. Now my father has died and he never knew that he had a great-granddaughter and a great-grandson. My mother said that my brother can come crawling to her now and she would tell him to go to hell. They have all missed out on a lot of years that they will never be able to get back. So hang in there and try to keep the doors open on your end and keep her informed on every little thing.

Good Luck.

Without details it's hard to offer good advice. If you have forgiven her you must let her know this. The baby is young yet. Maybe she will come around in a little while. It's not like the baby knows the difference yet anyway.(not meant to be nasty, but stating facts.)

Family is the most important thing. Do whatever you have to do. At least then you know you done all you could have. Tell your mum how you feel and how your daughter deserves a Nana despite your problems. After all its not your daughters fault

Tell her what you told us and see what she doe's. You can't make someone do something, but once you told her what you want wait and see what happens. Good luck.
