Ring the RAF Public Relations Officer with all your grandfather's particulars, and they should be able to send you in the right direction.

The Office National Stastics should have that information and they can pass you on to the relevant BFPO, if over seas, also they should be able to tell you the last posting, any where in the UK. Also if you need any extra help contact your local Health Authority as they can contact ONS for you.
Good luck with your search!
