Matthew 18:19-20.
It actually quotes Jesus as saying that whenever two or more are gathered in His name, He is there as well. Nothing specifically about a church.

The passage does not exist in the form you mention, and since Jesus personally founded, authorized, and empowered his church, and he certainly knew that countless millions would one day gather together to worship him, it's unlikey he would have kept them all standing out in the cold.
The first and second old testament Temples were extraordinarily beautiful houses of God, made according to God's precise instructions. These, plus the God-given authority of the universal new testament church, provides sufficient justification for the beautiful houses of worship that have been constructed around the world, throughout most of these new testament times.
No where in scripture or tradition does God ever prohibit the construction of church buildings.

at the same time as a guy baptizes yet another human being, it really is needed that the baptism is run contained in the call of Jesus and not in any respect contained in the titles "Father," "Son," and "Holy Ghost." Doing so recognizes the association of the baptism to Jesus' lack of life, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3-6, Galatians 3:26-27). the daddy and the Holy Spirit did not die, get buried, then strengthen from the lifeless. Jesus Christ did. Jesus Christ is the way, the reality, and the existence (John 14:6). To baptize contained in the titles "Father," "Son," and "Holy Ghost" isn't obeying what Jesus commanded. His words in Matthew 28:19 let us know to baptize contained in the only call that represents the daddy, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. That call is Jesus. those that call upon the call of the Lord will be saved from the wrath of God to go back (a million Corinthians a million:12-16, Colossians 3:17, Matthew 28:19, Romans 10:9-13, Acts 4:12), and Jesus is Lord. each account of an exact baptism contained in the recent testomony references the call of Jesus Christ. Baptism utilising the titles began contained in the early Fourth Century, in 325AD. there is not any reference contained in the Bible of someone being baptized contained in the titles "Father," "Son," and "Holy Ghost," yet extremely contained in the call of "Jesus." the form is major to understand: God has many titles, yet in hardship-free words the call of Jesus has been given for salvation, and baptism is actual area of salvation (Acts 8:12-16, Acts 2:38-40-one, Acts 4:10-12, Colossians 3:17, Philippians 2:9-11, Acts 8:35-39, Acts 16:14, Acts 19:a million-5, a million Corinthians a million:13-16, Acts 16:32-34).
