I am doing a report for school, and cannot remember how long it took for my group to reach the top floor..

It depended, it could take a while as there were two sky lobbies that you transferred to another elevator car. There were express elevators that I believe went right to the viewing floor on the 110th floor. My guess is less than three minutes on the express as most express elevators climb at the rate of one floor per 1.5 seconds, once they get going.

If you didn't take an express elevator, it could take almost ten minutes, especially with the time it took to transfer at the sky lobby and depending on how many floors the elevator had to stop on to pick up people.

it all depends on when you went. before 9/11 or after 9/11.
