WOW! You sure see the glass as half empty! How about we have a mind so we can do what ever we want with it...like invent pennecillin? Running water, electricity, technology (like the computer you are using now to impose gloom and doom on humanity) I think it is our responsibility to use our minds profitably and if we don't use our mind with a healthy dose of morality, we could well cause problems for ourselves.
I think that what every problems we get ourselves into, we can get ourselves out of...but if you love gloom and doom and fear is fun for you, enjoy...there's enough to worry a person who wants to see the down side of everything but there is enough good happening for those who enjoy that.
I feel sorry for you. I see sun shine...economic problems in the future perhaps but sunshine and flowers despite the problems. Too bad that its always dark where you live....and by the way, What a CRAZY god you worship!!! SAD!

Never. Creator gave man intelligence and reason but he misused it.So the natural consequence is destruction. It is imminent and its signs are already there" Global Warming".All Government is busy with building weapons to destroy each other. Will they ever come together to rectify the use of chemical weapons as well as to stop polluting our planet ,its rivers and air and will they take steps to increase the forest reserve. Most of the rulers are busy with spinning money and think about how to increase their wealth. This is true about all the business houses, film industries, sports personnel, media and so on.
Your conclusion is very right. Can we do something to stop it!

God gave us as much technology as we need for the time being. have you ever seen Armageddon. If God wanted to destroy us or have us destroy ourselves, we wouldn't be able to stop it anyway. And greed and fear of change aren't the only things keeping us on earth
You got somewhere else to go?

Don't you get it? It's the belief in this archaic nonsense of which "god" is the figurehead that is hindering technological advancement. Once the rolling stone of technology has started rolling, no one can stop it! We have to see it through to its ultimate end and to hinder its progress in any way is to destroy ourselves.

God gave us the ability to obtain knowledge. He also taught us the difference between right and wrong, good and evil, and added the freedom to choose. God does not want us to destroy ourselves. He sent His only begotten son Jesus to save us.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Our life here on earth is short and very temporary, and God gave us the way to eternal life through the accepting of His son Jesus as our personal Savior. What you do with that information will make the difference between eternal life in heaven and eternal torment in hell.

We reap what we sow. That is the law of cause-and-effect. We are responsible for all our actions.
God just look upon.
The Law of the cosmic consciousness keep running. Just learn them to live wise.
