main questions to ask yourself:
are your over your ex?
can you call your ex right now and just be friends?
will you think of him if you go on a date with this guy?
would you call this guy a few days after your first date?
can you say that you dont love your ex the way you use to?
and....do you still cry and miss him?
hope it helped!
GOOD LUCK!

Three months does not seem like a long time to be out of a relationship. Is this new guy a rebound? Well, that can be a tough question. One thing to consider is, what was your 3 year relationship like? What was the breakup like? Until this new guy came along, were you still missing your ex? And if so, does this new guy make you feel like you're on cloud nine?
If the new guy makes you forget that you were grieving the breakup, then it is definitely a rebound. However, I must say, if you decide that it is a rebound and BOTH of you are ok with that, go for it. Just be safe. Sometimes we just need to have a good fling with no expectations to remind us that life doesn't always have to be about loss.

Well, if you're not quite over your ex, then this new guy is a "rebound". It's a distraction to help cope with your breakup. Unless, of course, you're completely over your ex. But, being your past relationship was over 3 yrs., it may take longer than 3 mos. to totally get over the whole thing. Think of it this way, there must of been a reason why you broke up with your ex. Maybe you feel it's time to move on. If you're interested in the new guy, go for it! But, do it because you've healed from your past relationship & ready to start a new. Otherwise, if this new person doesn't work out, you'll be running back to your ex. And, by that time, he may resent you and not want you back. So, think about who you really see yourself with. Only you would know that.

Me personally don't think that you are on the rebound, I think that 3 months is long enough to not being on the rebound. Rebound is when you date someone after breaking up or being broken up with to advoid the lonlieness, or to show the other person you don't need them. The rebound guy alot of times is someone you are not interested in.

Well a rebound guy is a guy that u date to help ease the break up pain, and its ussually not serious on your part, and its usually convenience. You say that u like the guy, so if you like him than probably its not a rebound plus its been 3 months i think its safe to say he is no rebound a rebound is usually 3 weeks after the break up if not sooner. So go for it, and good luck, he might be the one you never unless u go for it, so have no fears.

i don't necessarily think this one is is rebound. now if you told you broke up 3 months, 3 weeks, or 3 day ago i would definitely say his a rebound. you broke up with this person long enough and i think you should be over him by now

Um..well rebound is basically when youre with someone to get your mind off of the previous guy/girl and because youre vulnerable and you wanna feel loved.
Weather or not its a rebound relationship is up to you, no one can tell you what youre feeling.

You don't. I met my now-fiancee about a month after my boyfriend and I broke up. You just have to give it time and make sure that you're spending time with him because you truly like him - not because you miss your ex.
Look at Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. Both of them got into new relationships right away and married their partners. They may have been rebounds but they worked.

rebound means you go out with a guy who you dont really like just to get over the last one. if you really dig this new guy go for it. if your 100% keen on this guy then great but if you have doubts think about it. are you over your ex? take it slow 7 make sure this new fella know where you & him stand.
