Depends on the size of the box. I've done the L-bracket thing, but I've also drilled through the floor of the box and the floor of the vehicle and run bolts through. If the box is bigger, you may want to consider this alternative. The box I drilled was for 4-12s in an S-10 eXtreme ext.cab. It worked well. If you do this, make sure you look for fuel tanks and fuel, electrical and brake lines!

or what you do which is better take the subs out of the box put the box in the trunk then put the bolt inside the box then bold it to the floor then put the subs back in.

put L brackets on your box and screw it into the ground and into the box make sure yo put some rubber sealant around the screw on the box so you don`t have air leaking if it is a sealed box, not to much jsut anough to coat the edges. good luck
