No, The Bible is God's Inspired Word.
His truth is unchanging.

I don't think it's a "bunch of garbage". Mankind has been coming up with philosophy for how to live a good life throughout the years before and after the bible.
As for the "truths" in your link... I keep getting a fatal error. So, I'm not sure what you mean by things that can be/was discovered scientifically.

Mostly. Actually the bible has some good values, is interesting, but is miscontrued by confused hillbillies which make it look bad. The bible does contradict itself many times. Do a Google search on Bible contradictions to see how many there are. The Europeans rewrote it all and made up whatever pleased the royalty. Why would anyone believe fairy tales like David and Goliath, Jonah and the Whale, Moses parting the Red Sea, Jesus feeding thousands with one Long John Silver's kiddie meal? The Taliban should rewrite the bible or the Warner Brothers. Steven Spielberg wrote the best version of it didn't he?

Yes, the bible is full of crap. A link to a Christian website does not support belief in it.
Egyptians (you know, the people who had all their innocent first-born children killed by God) found out that raw honey has natural antibacterial properties. Egyptians lived around the same time as Jesus, and were mentioned in the bible. Is it coincidence that we have now scientifically rediscovered what honey can do, or was it simply always there?
You may as well say "See, the bible said that the sun came up well before the Earth was scientificaly proven to be in the solar system!"
Your argument is invalid for so many reasons.

I just put an ad up in here about religion, im no preacher nor am i very religious but theres one thing that bothers me alot and thats those who walk around with their head up so high saying i go to church every sunday and belive in God, so i ask, if they do, then why are they a hypocrite? Why judge others poor or not, and think theyll make it into heaven, well truthfully, they won't, bcause they are too hypocritical of their fellow man and take advantage of life itself. There's 2 much anger within evryone a war is happening btween the two and nobody can see it?? I mean come on, stop being so hypocritical read the bible twice if they have to to realize it says that hypocrites are one thing that will not make it up into heaven and one thing that God despizes the most , so how can they expect him to truly forgive them if they are a hypocrite. Life is Black n white, and all i been seeing is alot of Blackness out there with everyone in so much hate n anger ready to rip each other in two, taking dvantage of eachother ripping eachother off, etc. im tired of it, im tired of hearing that they beive in God, but trluy they are sinners and hypocrites at war with eachother, guess theyd prefer Hell....

I went to the site which claimed a "Fatal Error." Sounds fair and it is also the reason we need a savior. We believe in the savior, not the bible. The bible holds God's Word like the manger held the Christ. (Luther).

While I do not believe the bible to be garbage, I do not take it as the literal word of a deity either. To me the bible is like any other ancient text.. written by humans with all their flaws and bias'. It was created by the perceptions of the many individuals who wrote it.

What "truths" does the bible contain prior to science discovering them? The scientific truths I know of, dinosaurs, evolution, heliocentric solar system, quantum physics, etc, all contradict the bible!
