How many KB does a 2gb micro sd card have?

Hi I just bought a 2gb memory card for my phone, but I think the guy really sold be a 1gb because on the back of the memory card it says SDC/1gb but on the front it says 2.0gb. When I check the memory info it says Total; 975360KB. So I want to know how many kb a 2gb memory card has to find out if he sold me a real 2gb.

the one they sold you is 1 GB

return it and ask for refund

1 GB is roughly 1,000 MB
1 MB is roughly 1,000 KB
1 GB is around 1,000,000 KB

1 gigabyte = 1 048 576 kilobytes
