Whenever I take a shower I cam completly paranoid somtimes i will rinse the soap, well actually everytime I use the soap ber I feel the absolute need to rinse it. I cannot touch or be near a toilet. My ex used to go while I was in the shower and I would freak out!(of coarse there was a curtain between us) I still freaked out. I repetivly wash each area of my body and will wash my face twice (once with soap and the other with scrub) somtimes more. I will always wash my hair twice with two diffrent shampoos. If the label doesnt read cleansing I will use that one second. If I use body wash I will only use it after I use a bar of soap first. I was at my freind the other night and was totally horrified. I was freaking out silently if somthing droped I was scared the water was contaminated and that the toiler beside the tub was spreading fecal germs on me. I refuse to take baths and my showers last easly an hour or longer. Is this possabley OCD??

As an OCD sufferer myself, I wouldn't say you have OCD untill you list some other possible symptoms that don't have to do with the shower. If you trully have OCD (I'm not saying you don't) then it's almost 100% likely that it will show up some other way in your life besides being scared of the shower. For example, I have had OCD since I was 5 years old and never knew it untill I was 14. My whole childhood I just thought that I was strange. I can not even describe the emotions and comfort that came from learning I was not the only one. I am constantly worried about my purse being closed, and I must check it every minute. I am constantly afraid that the house will catch on fire or that some one has broken in. That's just to name a couple. One other thing OCD people develop is rituals they have to follow daily and if they don't they go crazy. These rituals usually make zero sense. For example, you may have to lock a door a certain number of times before you feel satisfied enough to go to sleep, even if you know in your head it's already locked. Or the famous "The garage door is not shut" , is very common in OCD. I often drive back and forth to my house just to make sure it's not open. I'm telling you, start doing more research on OCD and that may help you.

Sounds like OCD to me. You need to call someone and get some help. You can't go on living your life like that. It will eat up your livelihood.

I don't think its OCD . It sounds more like a phobia. you should see a doctor , you seem to be suffering extreme anxiety that you need help with. Really, go to a mental health treatment center.you are suffering needlessly. You can be helped through talk therapy and or talk therapy and temporary medication.
Good Look

It means you have aquaphobia, which probably means that you have rabies. Go get a bunch of shots in your gut.
