No Cloe, Jesus did not come for the two reasons you mentioned.. Jesus came on Earth to redeem the lost, to bring life and healing to all those that were hurting and afraid, and to bring everyone, Jews, and Gentiles to know about the "Good News" that the Messiah had come and who so ever believed in Him would have everlasting life with Him and His Father the God Of Moses and all the prophets. Jesus is the Life, the Truth and the Light of the World. Get a Bible with the 2nd Testament and read and learn about this Messiah, the Christ Jesus, that changed the world with his Love, Goodness and Grace over 2000 years ago and still doing it today.... God Bless.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
People would not follow God's word just by hearing of it, so God gave us His word in the flesh so we could see it with out eyes. Even still people won't except it that way. Jesus did not come to us so we wouldn't be Jews. We are all Gentiles if we are not of Jewish faith. and through accepting Jesus as our savior, we then become adopted into God's family.
Jesus was the ultimate Lamb of God so we did not have to sacrifice lambs every year to cover our sins. All we have to do now is accept Jesus as our personal saviorj. Because we are all sinners we have to repent of our sins daily before God will even look at us or hear us.
An people wont' even do that. The hard work has been done by Jesus, and people today still wont' accept that free gift of Salvation. I did . Praise the Lord!

It isn't so much "so we wouldn't be Jews like him and sacrifice animals anymore" as it is that such was God's plan from the beginning.
1) "For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins" (Hebrews 10:4).
2) "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" (Revelation 13:8).
Thus we see that Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was what God intended all along, not animal sacrifices. Thus, we see that the animal sacrifices merely pointed to what the Messiah would do for us. And, indeed, Jesus' sacrifice on the cross fulfilled every requirement of the Passover sacrifice, from no bones broken to TOTAL blood loss.
And having Jesus as both my sacrifice for his AND my Great Hight Priest pleading that sacrifice on my behalf, I don't hneed any other sacrifice nor "work" nor "good deed." In fact, trying to substitute one would rather insult Him.

No. at first, cats and dogs are not kosher. merely kosher animals were sacrificed because the sacrifice change into really a fashion of slaughtering animals to devour. existence is seen holy and the taking of the existence of an animal change into now to not be finished gently. The dominant branches of judaism have not finished sacrifices because the destruction of the second one temple. The exception to this is a holiday referred to as kapparot, which will contain the sacrifice of a hen, even with the actuality that some jews merely burn fake funds as a change and maximum secular jews have not in any respect heard of this holiday and provide you with really peculiar seems once you tell them about it. some smaller communities of jews, perchance some karaite and Ethiopian jews might want to nevertheless sacrifice a lamb often times, rather in factors of the international the position lambs are frequently slaughtered (and eaten) in celebration or to honor a shopper.

No, He came down to basically tell us "yer doin' it wrong" lol.
He came to show us that it's not about the rules, it's about what is in your heart, your true motive in all that you do. If you were to follow the law, yet hate your fellow man in your heart, you will not see God.
He repeats it in almost every message He gave, the Good Samaritan, the story of the 10 talents, the incident of Him picking corn on the Sabbath, all of them show again and again that mere obeyance of the law is not enough if your heart is bad. Repeatedly thoughout His ministry the Pharisee tried to trap Him in the law .... it was all they knew, legalism.
He tried to show them, and us on down in history, that there IS an afterlife and He even went there and came back to prove to us that death is not the end, so we must be mindful of heart first and foremost.
Hope that clears it up for you.

No. He came down to establish a new covenant with humans and to redirect us back to God's grace. The Jews had strayed from favor with God. They had become legalistic and lost sight of what was important in lieu of regulations.
God doesn't care about religion. He wants our heart and a loving relationship with Him. He doesn't care if we are Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, etc. He wants us to follow His Word and obey His commands.
