Sex is only immoral when it is done before someone is married.
Look at 1 Thessalonians 4:3 and 1 Corinthians 6: 13, 18.
Also 1 Corinthians 7:36 shows that sex is not a sin within
marriage. So from a Biblical standpoint it is only immoral when
it is done without the commitment and sacredness of marriage.

Here's what the Dictionary says about immorality:
Main Entry:im£mo£ral£i£ty
Pronunciation:*i-(*)m*-*ra-l*-t*, *i-m*-
Function:noun
Date:circa 1566
1 : the quality or state of being immoral; especially : UNCHASTITY
2 : an immoral act or practice
It is not an "immoral" to have sex with your married spouse. However, sex with unmarried people is called "fornication" and sex with a married person, not your spouse is called "adultery".
Both are considered immoral in the Bible. In Hebrews 13:4 it says:
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
The Holy Bible : King James Version. 1995 . Logos Research Systems, Inc.: Oak Harbor, WA
Whoremongers is another name for fornicators. As you can see, God declares it immoral except in marriage.

Rod C answered your question truthfully and accurately.
Self control is something everyone exercises in their life from eating, drinking, sleeping, to refraining from having sex before marriage.
Sex is the means God gave to fill the earth with the descendants of Adam and Eve. Life is involved, and every life has the right to grow up knowing both parents and being loved and cared for by both parents.
Respect for life is shown when 2 people marry first and then produce children.

Sex is natural, not immoral. The bible is the literal word of God, so how do we get around this?
The bible teaches many things, like beating your slaves, selling your daughter into slavery, killing babies, killing everyone that works on Sunday, and having your son stoned to death if he won't listen. Seriously, it's all in there.
But wait! Most Christians say that those parts of the bible are not to be taken literally, or that they are open to interpretation! How can you interpret the literal word of God? How can you disobey a direct holy command to kill other people in God's name?
Because it's immoral?
If the bible itself, the so-called word of God, is open to interpretation but still teaches "morals" like that, can you really believe in it?
Perhaps you don't really need a book telling you what's right & wrong. Maybe you can decide for yourself. It couldn't hurt, could it?

Sex is a part of human nature that was given by God. God does not give us gifts then condemn us for using them. What he does condemn is harming another. If we use sex in a way that harms another person then we have committed sexual immorality.

lusting ("undressing with your eyes", imagining a person other than your spouse in bed, "touching")
masterbation (trying to get sensual pleasure out of your own gentials)
