No, they can be legally emancipated or reported for child abuse, but I don't think there's anywhere in the US court system that'll let a child sue his/her parent, unless it's something like a child sueing his parents because they mismanaged the kid's earnings or something, like a child movie star.

Yes depending on the nature of the "bad parenting" and what they re being sued for.

If it is done because the child didn't like something, or because they wanted some kind of financial gain than NO.

If a child is neglected or abused, then let them sue, to find a viable living situation.

No because, children are not born with manuals, and we only know what out parents taught us...

There would be alot of lawsuits going around for parenting over the last 100 years!

Instead children should forgive their parents and move on... We all had to.

ONLY IF PARENTS CAN SUE THEIR TEENAGERS FOR WRECKING HAVOC IN THE HOME AND UPSETTING THE REST OF THE FAMILY!

this is the most ridiculous question i've seen posted yet! roflol all parents make mistakes and up until recent years - kids were told to get over themselves and move on with their life! this is what kids today need to be told! GET OVER IT AND GET ON WITH IT!

if you are considering attempting such a thing... your parents need to drop your butt into the dirt (as one policeman so eloquently once told a teenager due to her bad behavior). how dare you disrespect them in such a way.
