Based on everyones opinions -agree or disagree?
I've thought this over and came to decide that, with aim the reason teens like myself might commit suicide or hurt them selve's is a break-up online on aim.
whether they knew them in person or not
when the person "blocks" them and dosen't let them see when they are ever on...or if they are even blocked for that matter so they start getting upset/paranoid. the list goes on but don't you guys all think that the aim should have this program so it will notify you when you do get blocked. thanks.

Disagree. If you are prepared to consider suicide over being blocked theres lots mor going on in your life which needs attention. People get blocked all the time. It can be annoying if you are trying to contact somebody but thats life.

I'm not sure what you are asking, exactly but I had a loved one commit suicide and I can tell you this for sure: There is absolutely NO problem EVER that is worth someone taking their own life over. And certainly not being blocked by someone's aim! That's just the modern day version of someone changing their phone number and not telling everyone. So what! And suicide affects EVERYONE around the person who does it in such a horrible, horrible way.

You don't say who got blocked on aim, but that person should just shrug it off and move on. The internet isn't real life, and it is a harsh place. People have aliases and behave in ways they most certainly would not if their real identity was known.

And just fyi--I am always hidden on my YM. And so are most of the folks I chat with. We have our reasons for preferring it that way and we're all fine with it. Just move on. You're a teen and have your whole life ahead of you!

If you commit suicide over a person just because they blocked you may have deeper issues and blame AIM...anyways, if you commit suicide than you will never know the answer so don't do it. You will never find out why people block people. Its just part of life...

No I don't think messenger programs should let you know when someone blocks you. You need to sit back and realize this is a computer and not totally real life. Just because someone doesn't want to talk to you anymore doesn't mean your life is over. Do you think about body harm every time someone in your school decides not to talk to you any more? I sure hope not. Get a life and get on with it.

In the community guidlines it advises not to answer questions on suicide anorexia or bulimia. These people should be getting immediate professional help. If your question gets blocked go to "Forum" & follow instructions- yahoo may or may not notify you
