Do you mean disciples or do you mean his Apostles? If it's apostles some died of old age, some were martyred.

I believe John, who wrote the book of Revelation died of old age as a prisoner on the Island of Pamos. James was drawn & quartered. Paul was also martyred I believe but I don't recall how.

As far as disciples go, Stephen was stoned to death, and of course you had all those early christians who died for the amusement of the Romans.

St. John, the favorite, who was in charge of the Blessed Virgin Mary was the only one to die of natural causes.

St Andrew: a cross in the form of an "X" in Galatia.
St Thomas: in India (not sure what sort of martyrdom)
St Peter: upside down in Rome
All others were martyred in some way or other, by stoning, by the sword, etc.

Murdered. They were beheaded or crucified or stabbed with swords or whatever but, they were all martyred except for John. He lived to be a ripe old age and it got to where people would come and ask him for information and the only thing he would say is "Just love one another, that is all". At one time a problem came up in the Church and everyone thought for sure John would tell them what to do but, he referred them to the Bishop in Rome at the time. I think it was Linus or someone like that. It has always been the Pope in Rome that has been the backbone of the Church , even when there was an actual Apostle left alive. The seat of Peter was passed down continually from him.

All the apostles except St. John were martyred.

The Romans boiled St. John in oil, but it didn't work.

It is a little known fact that a lot of them died of medical complications brought on from high cholesterol after a morning meal and get-together.

It's all depicted in Leonardo Da Vinci's "The Last Breakfast." They're all chowing down at a table for 11. Judas wasn't invited.
