i texted to my guy "im totally in love with you" and he replied that he doesnt think he deserves my love...what do you get from that?he doesnt want my love or what?what do i text back

I am 43 yrs old and have had very good long term relationships, 10 years my first one, 15 yrs my second one and now on my 3rd and final. How ever inbetween I have run in to the "I don't think that I deserve your love" scenerios. Some times they truely do believe that they arent worthy of your love because they know what a good person you are and how committed you would be and feel that they cant commit themself to the relationship as much as you can. Others who have said that ...was simply a cop out! but I didn't fight it and better doors have opened. Im sure from the sounds of it you are quite a bit younger and I don't think you need to persue it. Better things will come your way. Especially one that you wont have to "convince" that he IS worthy.

Ask him if he has self esteem problems or what is he doing to be guilty feeling to not deserve your love? If you have never told him that you love him before I don't think texting is the way to go.

I think your guy is very insecure and he doesn`t think that he can hold on you, so you have to keep reassuring him that he is the one you LOVE & WANT and you are not going away.Be persistent and stick with it if you really love him. He will come around. GOOD LUCK

it sounds like hes saying that your to good for him, ask why you do not deserve his love, he might of done something wrong.
