That was actually last Sunday's Gospel. Luke 4:21-30. The reading ends with:

'They rose up, drove him out of the town,
and led him to the brow of the hill
on which their town had been built,
to hurl him down headlong.
But Jesus passed through the midst of them and went away. "

The passage most folks are mistakenly referring to does not involve a cliff at all. The devil tempts Jesus to make a show by jumping off the Temple Mount and surviving.

The one with the cliff takes place in Jesus's home town of Nazerath. Right after he intentifies himself as the promised Messiah, he tells the people: "Amen, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own native place." Then they decide to run him out of town.

None, because Jesus was never pushed off a cliff. When He was run out of His home town of Nazareth the people came close to throwing Him down the cliff that was behind Him but He simply walked through the midst of them unscathed. When Jesus was in the wilderness Satan tempted Him to prove He was the Son of God by throwing Himself off the pinnacle of their Temple.

Satan "took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple" and tempted him to throw himself down, suggesting that since He was the Son of God that the angels would rescue Him. (Matthew 4:5)

No pushing off cliffs.

Pigs did jump off a cliff when they were filled with the unclean spirits, as per the demons asking Jesus if they could inhabit the pigs. (Mark 5; Luke 8)

No, that is not in the bible. The verse you are referring to is found in Matthew 4:5-7 which is shown below:

Matthew 4:1-11
1Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread."
4 Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.' "

5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6 "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written: " 'He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.' "

7Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.' "

8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 "All this I will give you," he said, "if you will bow down and worship me."

10Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.' "

11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

Matt 4:1 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness 1 to be tempted by the devil. 4:2 After he fasted forty days and forty nights he was famished. 2 4:3 The tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread.” 3 4:4 But he answered, 4 “It is written, ‘Man 5 does not live 6 by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” 7 4:5 Then the devil took him to the holy city, 8 had him stand 9 on the highest point 10 of the temple, 4:6 and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written, ‘He will command his angels concerning you’ 11 and ‘with their hands they will lift you up, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’” 12 4:7 Jesus said to him, “Once again it is written: ‘You are not to put the Lord your God to the test.’” 13 4:8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their grandeur. 14 4:9 And he said to him, “I will give you all these things if you throw yourself to the ground and worship 15 me.” 4:10 Then Jesus said to him, “Go away, 16 Satan! For it is written: ‘You are to worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’” 17 4:11 Then the devil left him, and angels 18 came and began ministering to his needs.

He was not exactly pushed off a cliff. The townspeople of Nazareth, his hometown, attempted to do that but he was able to walk away. (Luke 4 28-30)
Have a blessed day

You are thinking of when he was run out of Nazareth. They weren't going to push him off a cliff - Nazareth was in a small depression. They wanted to run him out of town by rolling him down the hill bordering the village. See Luke 4:29.
When the devil tempted Jesus, he took him to the top of the Temple and tempted him to jump.

Daniel 7 depicts the Son of guy (a identify Jesus used of Himself) as being God, insomuch as he's being worshiped and served by all humanity and is an enduring King (all of that are attributes and features of God.) and that i think of you omit the component of John 10. Jesus calling Himself the Son of God grew to become right into a declare of Deity and equality with the daddy. it is why the Jews had to stone Him.
