Okay, let me just sraight up say this like it is. Let's just say I'm still a kid, but I'm addicted to watching inappropiate things, I can't help it. When I first moved here, there was this girl who kept on showing me bad stuff on funnyjunk ( a bad website), and I was too young to know it was bad for me. Now I don't look at bad stuff as much as I used to, but, as I said, I can't help it. Do you have any ideas that can help prevent this bad habit, if so, please just tell me with no crude comments, I know I've been bad, but it's a terrible habit that I'd love to get rid of....please help!

This is after all perfectly normal. Only you can allow yourself to get rid of this bad habit. It's fighting temptation on not watching these bad things and having the will power to help fight temptation. Concentrate on other things like school work, work in general, hanging out with friends, talking a walk outside, listening to music, etc. This is all about you. Do you have the will power to fight the temptation on watching these videos?

13-year-old response: I dunno. If I have an addiction, sometimes i simply remove the ability to receive the temptation. I block the websites, get rid of ANY AND ALL bad things (p**n, etc.) in the house, get parental controls on the TV and anything else you can think of that would remove the temptation. Eventually you may start seeing it as bad stuff, possibly (i hope) even gross. This worked when I had an addiction to video games (actually it's not quite there yet; i still like playing them at times).
Adult response: Get yourself into a group of Christian friends. If you surround yourself with friends who wouldn't even think of looking at that stuff, you'd be surprised at how quickly you break that habit. No one is beyond hope. Also, seek the assistance of the school counselor, but better yet, a youth/adult leader at a church.
Best wishes for you.

Make sure you have plenty of other, more appropriate things to keep you busy so that you won't have so much down time, when you're more likely to feel the urge to watch these inappropriate things. Staying busy is one of the easiest ways to fight inappropriate urges.
Do you have a teacher, a counselor, or a minister you trust you could talk to? I'm not familiar with what the website you mentioned, but you may find that what you are experiencing is more normal adolescent curiosity than an addiction. You are going through a period of changing and surging hormones, and it's natural to be curious and intrigued by them. It may ease your mind. A trusted adult may also have suggestions to help you keep from giving in to these inclinations.
Good luck!

Funnyjunk may have some inappropriate things, but I stopped watching it after one of those videos had a prank and a scary picture and a scream popped up. It scared me to death so I don't go there anymore. Think about that.

If you're going to choose to live your life thinking you HAVE no choice, then I can't help you. If, however, you realize that our actions are ALWAYS a choice, then you can simply choose not to go on the sites. It takes willpower and faith in yourself. One simple way to help yourself stop looking at "bad" things is to block those particular websites. Another simple way is to reward yourself in some small way for every week you don't get on and look. I would say good luck, but it has nothing to do with luck. :)

You need to avoid places where you can get that so stuff so easy
you need to hang around with friends that like the good things in
for fun, like sports.bowling and a good clean movie. Hang with kids who en joy the good stuff and do things there way. when you are not with them, use that time to do work for you parents, or any senior citzen that could use your help. The thing is to put
your time to good use and make good friends . you will break the habit,

i agree with some curiosity is normal, but (and i don't know whats on that website) depending on how "bad" the site is, it could desensitize you to the behaviors you are seeing. a lot of times if you tell someone you know who would not really approve of the website, they could help keep you on track by talking to them calling them and saying i am really thinking of going to that site and give you support and alternatives even talking to distract you you can always pray for help overcoming you problem

everytime you get in the mood to watch something like that, just watch a chick flick instead.
any movie with a love story. start with movies that have sex scenes, maybe this will help you ween away from it. trust me, it'll help you get passed this, and you can just treat it like a phase.
some good suggestions are the notebook, a walk to remember, anything really, just watch your favorite chick flicks
hope this helps you!
