Sometimes my girlfriends get too personal with me. She tells me she is spotting, on her period and name of the pad brand she wears. Why is she sharing this personal information with me?

She is thinking of you as a friend but forgetting that friendship is different for males than females.

i don't know why.. thats kinda weird actually (and im a girl)...just tell her that ur not comfortable with her sharing that kinda info with you... she'll understand- its not a big deal.
