I tell you if I was that girl you were hitting.... I'd beat the crap out of you.. Just because you are a spoiled little brat...DOES NOT MEAN YOU GET EVERYTHING WHEN YOU WANT IT!!! I have 2 kids of my own, and they have to share! You seriously need to get a nintendo ds of your own if you want to play. YOU NEED TO RESPECT YOUR FRIENDS HOUSE....IT'S NOT YOURS! HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF SOMEBODY CAME TO YOUR HOUSE AND TRIED TO PULL SOME STUPID STUFF LIKE THAT ON YOU??? YOU WOULDN'T LIKE IT! YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO APPOLOGIZE TO THE GIRL YOU WERE HITTING.That wasn't right! YOU WERE PROBABLY RAISED BETTER THAN THAT!

Hey Em. I got the message about your write-ups. What movie did you see? Was it good?? (Just so you know, however, I really don't condone that kind of behavior. I think it's wrong to ditch school.)

Anyway, yeah, this probably wasn't the best move. How old is Marissa? Doesn't matter, I guess. You still threw a fit.

What you need to do is just learn to exert some self-control in these kinds of situations. When you feel yourself starting to get mad, you just need to:

A) count to ten quietly or mentally and/or
B) breathe deeply a couple times and/or
C) Excuse yourself to splash water on your face or get a drink of cold water.

You just need to learn that your behavior around friends or adults other than parents needs to be of a more mature and peaceful nature. There's nothing wrong with using my suggested tips to grow into this.

Good luck! I hope I can help in some way.

I think that at that age you are expected to show a little more maturity. I do think that you are to old to be throwing fits. I look at it like this, if you were to get a job, and at 14 is typically when they start looking and your boss tells you to do something that u don't want to do are u going to throw a fit then? All I am saying is that there comes a time when you have to grow up and start to look at things differently. Besides it was just a game you will still have gotten a turn.

Emily, tantrums are something parents try very hard to get their toddler to stop. You are almost 14. That means you are much closer to being a woman than being a toddler. You are obviously intelligent and have the maturity to look closely at your own behaviour and decide what kind of person you want to be. It really is that simple: you are at a time in your life when you can deliberately make the decision on what kind of person you want to be. My guess is that you sound like someone who wants to become a woman who conducts herself with self respect, courage and dignity. Make the decision to live your life that way now and that is the person you will be. Good luck Sweety.

Are you serious? If this is how you have been bought up then you have a really bad mum to allow you to get to almost 14 and get away with tantrums. Tantrums are for 2 &3 year olds because they don't have the vocablary to express how they feel. You are almost an adult. Grow up, stop throwing tantrums and act more like your friends (that is if you have any left after your behaviour. My daughter is 7 and would want nothing to do with kids who act like you do. I am surprised your friends can stand being around you if you are physically abusive to them)

Well, it wasn't good. You say you are 13 going on 14, yet you're basically acting like a 2 year old. Do you want your parents and teachers to take you seriously and give you the privilges and responsibilities that go w/ being a teenager? For instance, eventually you're going to want to date, drive a car, etc. No one is going to take you seriously if you're throwing fits. It's time to grow up and act your age!

Sweetheart we all learn about things by our mistakes. What u did was a mistake and I see u didn't realize that. But thats okay.As long as u know now that that is not the right behavior for a 13 year old. Remember life is about learning and part of learning is by the mistakes we make.Just don't forget to learn by them.Good luck

It's because your mom doesn't dicipline you enough. I would have got the hell slapped out of me if I did that, regardless if I was 4 or 14. You can't act that way in the real world, and someday you might have one rude awakening to the way life really is.
